Following Tip, Police Nab Man in Connection with Drug Charges
Evergreen Park police said they caught a Chicago man in the process of selling drugs.
Police said they charged a man with felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance after receiving a tip from an informant.
Ray Locke, 53, of Chicago, was picked up around 7:16 p.m. April 26 near 95th Street and Kedzie Avenue, according to police.
Undercover officers said they called Locke and arranged to buy some cocaine and heroin after a tipster told them the Chicago man was selling drugs in Evergreen Park.

Locke told police he would be arriving in a green car, according to reports. Police put the car under surveillance and met Locke at the appointed hour in the drug store parking lot, reports said.
Police said they watched Locke get out of the car and drop a bag containing 6.6 grams of cocaine onto the ground. Locke was arrested and taken into custody, reports said.
