Man Stuffs Bluetooth Down Pants

According to reports, a man was seen taking a Bluetooth headset from Walmart’s electronics department. Police arrested Jonathan N. Conner, 25, of Chicago, and charged him with retail theft. According to police reports, the headset was worth $49. Police said at about 6:03 p.m., store security saw Conner take the headset, wander around the store, take the headset out of its original packaging and stuff it down the front of his pants.

Tag-Team Thievery

Police said two women were seen taking merchandise from Walmart, 2500 W. 95th St. at about 5 p.m. According to reports, Patricia Strange, 59, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft and Carmen J. Clark, 45, of Chicago was charged with felony retail theft. Police said Strange put two Lexmark ink cartridges into a different container, and Clark stuffed them in the sleeve of her sweater. The cartridges were valued at $47.

Temporary Employee Seen Taking Store Merchandise

According to police reports, a temporary Walmart employee was seen taking store merchandise. Police arrested Bryan D. Johnson, 22, of Gary, IN, and charged him with retail theft. According to reports at about 12:17 a.m., he took two items valued at $25. Walmart store security saw Johnson take the two items from the store while he was working. According to police, Johnson took a cell phone cover out of its packaging and placed it on his cell phone, then grabbed a DVD and concealed it in his shirt. Store security saw Johnson attempt to leave the store just before leaving work, and stopped him as he left, police said.

Woman Attempts to Steal Large Package of Ensure

Police said Kensha M. Lewis Easter, 32, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft. According to reports, she took several items valued at $83 from Walmart. At about 2:11 p.m., store security observed her putting cosmetics items in a large white purse, police said. According to reports, Lewis Easter took 24 bottles of Ensure and four cans of Progresso soup. She did not pay for any of the items, but as she approached the front entrance of the door, store security stopped her, police said.

Man Admits to Having 5 Baggies of Marijuana

When police stopped a man for a traffic violation, they found marijuana. Police said Johnathan J. McFee, 20, of Evergreen Park, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. According to reports, McFee had 5.6 grams of marijuana. Ttactical officers saw McFee driving east on 87th Street without a working rear registration plate light. They stopped him at the intersection of 87th Street and Rockwell Avenue, and when he handed the officer his insurance card, the officer found green leafy residue folded into his insurance card, police said. Asked whether he had more marijuana, he handed the officer five plastic bags from his pants pocket, police said.
