Police: 'He Did Not Fight Back Because She was Pregnant'

According to police, a pregnant woman jumped into a fight between two men, but the victim she clocked didn't fight back.

said after a pregnant woman saw two men fighting, she jumped in the middle and socked the victim.

According to reports, she and a man beat the victim, who was an apparent friend.

On Jan. 11, police arrested Priscilla A. Baker, 18, and Cody Zimmerman, 19, both of Evergreen Park and charged them with battery.

According to reports, a man said he was attacked by the two while in the 9400 block of Troy Avenue at about 3 a.m. Police said the victim and Zimmerman were arguing, when Baker jumped into the argument and both began fighting. According to police reports, Baker struck the victim several times, “but he did not fight back because she was pregnant.” Police said Zimmerman hit the victim several times with a closed fist. According to reports, a witness saw the fight.
