Police said Chicago resident Monique S. Hutcherson, 18, took four CDs from Walmart, 2500 W. 95th St. Hutcherson was seen by security at about 6:35 p.m. removing the CDs from cases and putting them in her back pants pocket, according to police. Security caught her upon exiting the store, police said. The CDs were valued at $42.76,

Felony Retail Theft

A man was charged with felony retail theft for stealing toiletries from Walmart. Police said Leroy J. Hopkins, 51, of Chicago, stole $42.99 worth of items from the store at about 12:15 p.m. According to police reports, he was charged with a felony because of previous retail theft convictions in 2006.
