Men Charged for License Violations

  • Robert A. Gilford, 22, of Chicago, was stopped around 5:16 p.m. at 95th Street and Rockwell Avenue after police said his front license plate was not displayed. According to reports, Gilford had no driver's license and police noticed he had a prior driving under the influence conviction and several other convictions for driving on a suspended license. Police said Gilford was charged with felony driving on a revoked license because of a previous felony theft for a car jacking.
  • Police said Jesus Aranda, 29, of Harvey, was stopped at 10:12 p.m. in the 3200 block of 93rd Street for not having a front license plate. Because his license was suspended twice and previously revoked, police said Aranda was charged with felony driving on a suspended license.

Police Blotter information is provided by law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.
