Motorcycle Driver Busted for Cocaine and Traffic Charges

Officers on patrol stopped motorcyclist Kestutis P. Tatoris, 51, of Evergreen Park, for driving with an expired license plate, and he admitted to not having insurance, police said. Upon conducting a pat-down search for weapons at about 10:23 p.m. in the 9100 block of Kedzie Avenue, police found a plastic baggie in Tatoris’ pocket with suspected cocaine, police said. Tatoris was nervous and refused to place his hands behind his back, twisted and turned his body, resisting arrest, police said. After Tatoris was taken into custody, police found another baggie of cocaine in his pants pocket, and while searching his motorcycle, police found a digital scale from one of the storage boxes, according to the report.

Police ultimately charged Tatoris with possession of a controlled substance for having 1.0 grams of cocaine, resisting a police officer, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Tatoris also was issued tickets for driving with no insurance and having an expired registration.
