1 Car, 1 Gun and 12 Baggies of Crack Cocaine

A car was stopped for failure to signal, what police found inside resulted in a whole lot more than just a traffic citation.

On Saturday, Aug. 11, a car containing two men was stopped on the 9500 block of Clifton Park for failure to use a turn signal, police said.

The driver of the car was Christopher Malone, 35, of the 7900 block of Langley in Chicago. Next to him was Deandre Eiland, 28, of the 400 block of 51st Street in Belwood. Police say they ran both men's names and discovered that both had suspended driver's licenses.

The two men were searched by police. Eiland, a convicted felon, was carrying a loaded Glock 34 containing a total of 21 rounds, police said.
