Mom and Dad Track Down Guy Who Stole iPhone From Their Son

After three men beat their son and stole his iPhone, the victim's parents went after them and found them on a public bus.

After three men beat a man and robbed a man of his iPhone, said, the victim's parents went after the thieves and found them.

On Oct. 16, the 22-year-old victim was approached by three men around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of 93rd  Street and Springfield Avenue, according to reports, and they asked for his phone to make a nine-minute call.

Police said when the victim asked for the phone back, all three men began to beat him. Then they ran.

The victim returned home, told his mom and dad, and they immediately went to the area and saw the three men getting on a bus, then get off the bus at 87th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

Damajia Bell, 18, of Chicago was the only person police who was positively identified as one of the men in the group, police said. Police also said they found the victim’s iPhone on Bell.

According to reports, police charged Bell with felony robbery.
