Pantless Man Touching Himself in Public Wanted to be Committed: Police

A 24-year-old Oak Lawn man was charged with public indecency on Sept. 15 after Evergreen Park police found him with his pants down.

Police arrested an Oak Lawn man they say was masturbating in front of traffic because he wanted to be committed to a mental health hospital.

Taj S. Ado, 24, of the 97000 block of Pulaski Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and public indecency, according to a police report.

Evergreen Park police received multiple calls at around 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 15 about a man who had pulled down his pants and underwear in public near the intersection of 97th Street and Pulaski Road. When cops arrived, they found the half-nude man continuing to touch himself on the corner.
