Man Stopped by Police Also Charged With Drug Possession

Police said a man who they stopped for a traffic offense had marijuana in his possession.

A man stopped by police in connection with failure to signal had marijuana in his possession, according to reports.

Police said they stopped Evergreen Park resident Louis Seleb, 28, at about 9:18 p.m. April 29 after he failed to use his turn signal while leaving a gas station at 87th Street and California Avenue.

According to reports, when police approached the car, they smelled marijuana. Police said they asked Seleb if he had anything illegal in the vehicle, and he admitted to having the marijuana. Officers took him into custody, charged him with possession of 2.3 grams of marijuana and issued him a citation for failure to signal, police said.
