Man Leads Cops on Foot Chase

According to reports, at about 5:37 p.m., on April 14, police saw a 1996 Chevrolet speeding 48 mph in a 35 mph zone near 97th Street and Pulaski Avenue and it failed to stop, continuing to drive away from officers. The car ended up stopping at an apartment complex on 103rd St. in Oak Lawn,” police said, and the driver, Bradley D. Thomas, 47, of Alsip, got out and fled on-foot, according to reports.

Passenger Peggy A. Keselica, 57, of Tinley Park was detained at the scene where police stopped the car, police said. After searching the car, police found a bag containing 1.1 grams of heroin in the center console belonging to Thomas, according to reports. Police said they also found a 1.1-gram bag of heroin in Keselica’s bra.

According to reports, police caught Thomas shortly after chasing him and found that his license was revoked for several DUI’s. Both Keselica and  Thomas were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Thomas was additionally charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, aggravated fleeing and eluding, speeding, disobeying a stop sign and no valid insurance.
