Male-Female Ruse Burglar Combo Targeting Elderly in Local Area

At 6 p.m. Jan. 18, an elderly victim heard a knock at the front door of her home in the 7700 block of West 80th Place, in Bridgeview.

When the elderly woman opened the door she saw a white female and male  standing there. The female told the elderly woman that she lives on the block and needed her help in finding kids in the area starting fires.

Bridgeview Police said the female entered the elderly woman’s home without being invited.

While standing in her kitchen, the elderly victim noticed the male accomplice at the back door where he asked for change for a $50 bill.

A next-door neighbor then checked on the elderly woman by entering through the front door.

Both subjects fled the area in a newer, dark gray SUV.

The female is described as five feet tall, about 130 pounds with long black hair.

The male is about five-feet-ten-inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Burbank Police reported a similar incident earlier in the day.

The elderly Bridgeview resident has been a victim or ruse burglars in the past.

Any similar type incidents or information on the offenders please contact Det. Prince of the Bridgeview Police Department at 708-924-8047.

Too bad no one got a license plate number. I wish they'd come to my house. Problem would be solved.

Whoa. Gypsies? Isn't that very assumptive and stereotypical. Being a gypsy doesn't make you a thief Bianca. Bad people come in all races, creeds and sizes. so please if you have nothing intelligent to say keep your comment to yourself.

This woman has been a victim of ruses before. She or her family members need to have a couple of security cameras installed so the cops can identify them if it ever happens again. Let's hope not!

I could show you a lot of gypsies that work normal 9-5 jobs and are honest just like anyone else. Its not anyone's choice or fault what "race" or "group of people" they were born into. So whatever ay what you want but that's just stereo typing and makes you sound less intelligent.

Stolen or not - it's a start.

Stero typing? What is one to think when a gypsy comes right out and tells you what they are about? Search here on this site for "Tiffany Nicole Miller"
