Lose a Bike Last Year? Police May Have it

The Evergreen Park Police Department is requesting that any resident who may have lost a bicycle in 2011 view unclaimed bicycles.

To ensure a good faith effort to identify, locate and give notice to owner of unclaimed bicycles, the Evergreen Park Police Department is hereby requesting identification of found, unclaimed bicycles by Evergreen Park Residents.

Any resident that has lost a bicycle in 2011 will be able to view unclaimed bicycles for identification of ownership. The resident will be required to provide a serial number and/or receipt of the found bicycle.

Viewing of bicycles will be on Thursdays at 9240 S. Kedzie Ave., between the hours of 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and by appointment only. Bicycles can be viewed through Feb. 28, at which time, any unclaimed bicycles will be donated to charity.
