K-9 Finds Syringes, Theft from Dots: Blotter

Aggravated Driving With a Suspended License

Alphonso C Williams, 40, of Matteson, was charged with aggravated driving with a suspended license and obstructing justice, according to a report. His license had been previously revoked for driving under the influence. He was stopped at about 12:58 p.m. near 95th Street and Western Avenue. He reportedly tried to give the officer a driver’s license that belonged to someone else. Police confirmed his identity through fingerprinting. A passenger, Ian C. Drake, 36, of Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drug Paraphernalia Charge

Arkadiusz Kosciuk, 25, Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a tail light and driving without valid insurance, according to a report. He was stopped at about 6:27 p.m. near 87th Street and Pulaski Road when an officer noticed his vehicle had only one tail light. After Kosciuk failed to provide proof of insurance, police searching the car uncovered baggies with a white powder residue.

K-9 Finds 2 Used Syringes

Danielle M. Cornwall, 35, Palos Hills, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane, according to a police report. Police stopped Cornwell at about 7:04 p.m. near 87th Street and Pulaski Road after she was seen crossing the road lines. A K-9 search uncovered a small nylon bag that contained two used syringes, two bags with white powder residue, a cooking tin and foil.

Theft From Dots

Jennifer P. Williams, 24, of Flossmoor was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking $27 worth of clothing at about 7:30 p.m. from Dots, 2514 West 94th St.
