Joliet Man Charged with Marijuana Possession: Blotter

Marijuana Charge


Robert Belanski, 25, of the 500 block of Kungs Way, Joliet, was charged with possession of marijuana and improper lane use, according to an Evergreen Park Police Department report. Police watched a vehicle cross the road lines and performed a stop at about 12:39 p.m. Police smelled marijuana during the stop. A search turned up a plastic bag with 9 grams of a substance that tested positive for marijuana.

Drug Paraphernalia Possession


Nicholas Williams, 22, of the 9700 block of Normandy Avenue, Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report. The driver was stopped at about 4:56 p.m. when police noticed his vehicle was crossing the road lines. Drug paraphernalia was found in a bag in the backseat of the vehicle.
