Hometown Man Accused in Nurse Purse Theft

Evergreen Park Police said a patient took money from a nurse's purse at a Doctor's office.

A man accused of taking money from a nurse’s purse was tracked down by that nurse and her co-worker, according to Evergreen Park police reports.

At 4:15 p.m., officers responded to report from a doctor’s office, at 3900 W. 95th St., claiming that a patient took money out of a nurse’s purse.

Police said a witness saw Brian Page, 37, of Hometown, go behind the reception desk and then run into the bathroom. “She said he looked like he was hiding something and noticed that her coworker’s purse was missing from its usual spot behind desk,” police said the witness explained. “She told coworker that Page was behind desk and her purse was missing, so they went to bathroom to confront him,” police said.
