The Old Out the Window Trick: Police Blotter

Evergreen Park police reports, March 15.

On Friday, March 15 at 10:21 p.m. a car was stopped near the 3800 block of Columbus Avenue. 

The driver, Luai M. Hasan, 27, of Chicago, was observed making an improper pass in the 8700 block of Central Park, police said. Officers than observed the passenger of the car throw something out of the side window before they pulled over, police said. 

Hasan was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper passing, no insurance and illegal transportation of open alcohol. Inside the car was 4.3 grams of marijuana, an open bottle of Ciroc vodka, one glass pipe with residue, four scales, 14 sleeping aid pills and small plastic bags, police said.

The passenger, Domingo F. Aguirre, 31, of Chicago, was charged with obstructing identification. Police say he gave them a false name and date of birth in order to conceal a warrant.
