Heroin, Open Beer and 3 Felony Arrests: Police Blotter

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30

Suspended License Leads to Felony

Rashad Aaron, 33, of Riverdale was charged with aggravated driving on a revoked license and driving without insurance. He was stopped at 5:49 p.m. in the 2500 block of 95th Street after failing to signal while switching lanes, police said. His license was revoked for a DUI and he has a previous conviction for driving on a suspended license, police said.

Heroin Possession

George West, 22, of Hometown was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was stopped at 5:22 p.m. in the 10300 block of Kedzie for failing to signal, police said. He had .2 grams of heroin, a straw and metal cooking pipe in his pocket, police said.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 25

Open Beer, Bag of Heroin

Jeffrey Wilmington, 28 of Crestwood was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with open alcohol and driving without insurance. He was stopped at 2:38 p.m. in the 8700 block of Sacramento for failure to signal. Police say he had 1.7 grams of heroin, 44 small plastic bags with residue, a straw and an open Ice House beer.
