Four Men Charged in Late-Night Fight Outside Barraco's

Evergreen Park police said four men beat up a Barraco's worker after he tried to get them to leave the restaurant.

Four men were charged with battery for beating up a restaurant employee on June 25 at Barraco’s in Evergreen Park.

Police said they responded to a call about a fight in progress outside the front door of Barraco’s, 3701 W. 95th St., at about 1:39 a.m.

Jorge Humberto Ruvalcaba, 28, of Alsip, was charged with battery for striking a victim in the nose and head with his closed fist. Luis F. Ruvalcabaromo, 20, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., was charged with battery for kicking the victim in the back and shoulders and punching him with his closed fist in the face, causing physical pain. Joel I. Serna, 21, of Evergreeen Park, was charged with battery for pushing the same victim in the chest. Gustavo Ruvalcaba, 29, of Evergreeen Park, was charged with battery for punching the victim in the face and mouth with his closed fist.

According to police reports, the victim was an employee of Barraco’s who was trying to get the four men to leave because they were causing a disturbance. When the manager asked them to leave, the fight started, police said.
