A downed power line produced high flying sparks and emitted a loud humming sound for several minutes. Police and firefighters, who were only steps away, responded in force quickly.
Businesses along 95th Street from Kedzie to Pulaski are without power. ComEd reports that over 3,000 customers in the area of 95th Street are without power, according to their outage map.
