Cops Find Pot in Man's Attic
Evergreen Park Police found over 400 grams of marijuana in a man's attic.

According to reports, tactical officers had information about possible drug activity in the area on the evening of Nov. 21. Police said officers approached Daniel Remegi, 26, near his home and he admitted he had a small bottle of marijuana for personal use.
After searching the house, police said, they found a metal pipe used for ingesting marijuana and discovered a 3-gallon bag that contained smaller bags of marijuana weighing 474.7 grams in the attic.

According to reports, the pipe was in a box in the kitchen near a Ziploc bag containing 4.2 grams of marijuana.
Remeg was charged him with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and felony unlawful delivery of marijuana.

Police said Remegi was charged with a felony because the contraband “looked like it was packaged for sale.”
