Chicago Man Threatens CTA Driver: Blotter

TUESDAY, APRIL 23

Marijuana Possession Charge For Chicago Man

Juan C. Mondragon, 20, 6600 block of South Whipple Street, Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to a report. Police stopped Mondragon at about 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of 94th Street and Western Avenue after he was spotted driving over the road lines. An officer reported smelling an odor of marijuana in the car. A marijuana-filled cigar was recovered from the ash tray. In total, about 0.5 grams of pot was found.

Chicago Man Accused of Threatening CTA Driver

Cory C. Ulmer, 29, 8500 block of South Paulina Street, Chicago, was charged with assault, according to a report. He was arrested at about 11:02 a.m. near the intersection of 98th Street and Western Avenue. Ulmer was causing a disturbance on a CTA bus and was told by the driver to get off. He then threatened to kill the driver after being denied from getting back on the bus.

Retail Theft Charge For Chicago Woman

Dominique L. Dailey, 18, 500 block of East 40th Street, Chicago, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking $314.94 worth of clothing and DVDs from Wal-Mart, 2500 W. 95th St.

Clothing & Cosmetics Stolen

Cyncidia L. Davis, 19, 500 block of East 40th St., Chicago, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of stealing $132.21 worth of clothing and cosmetics from Wal-Mart, 2500 W. 95th St.
