Chicago Man Lifts Sausages and Condoms from Walmart
Police say the man was seen on camera by store security and had taken other food items as well.
One man’s plan for a feast and other fun was cut short after Walmart security officers caught him stealing sausages and condoms, police said.
Olander J. Edwards, 53, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft for taking seven items valued at $39.88 from Walmart, 2500 W. 95th St., police said.
Among the items reported stolen were pork hotlinks, cheesy brats, six packages of Italian sausage—and a pack of Lifestyles condoms.

Walmart store security reported seeing Edwards on camera at about 12:35 p.m. on July 3, placing a pack of condoms and the sausages in his cart. Edwards then placed the meat in a plastic Walmart bag he had in his cart and headed toward the exit, the report said.
Walmart store security caught him after he exited the store, police said.
