Chicago Driver Traps Cop's Arm with Car Window: Blotter
Evergreen Park police report, Nov. 14.
The arm of an Evergreen Park officer was caught in a rolled-up car window during a traffic stop earlier this month.
Tristian A. Jones, 27, of the 8600 block of South Honore, Chicago, was charged with driving with suspended registration, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and resisting arrest, according to an Evergreen Park police report.
Cops pulled Jones over at about 6:43 p.m. on Nov. 14 in the 2600 block of West 87th Street, the report states. He couldn’t show proof of having insurance and handed officers a license that turned out to be suspended.

Jones was asked several times to get out of his car but refused, the report states.
As an officer was reaching through an open window to unlock the doors, Jones hit the button and tried to pin the officer’s arm with the glass, the report states. Other officers removed Jones from the car. He continued to struggle until officers were able to place him under arrest.

The officer, who wasn’t hurt in the incident, was able to get his arm unstuck from the window, the report states.
