Car Accident on Maplewood Ave. Near 95th Street

A Lexus backed into an Infiniti just after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Two cars collided on Maplewood Avenue, just south of 95th Street on Wednesday at 6:03 p.m. One person was injured.

Police said a woman driving a black Lexus LS400 backed into a blue Infiniti MB5X as she was backing out of a parking space. The woman sustained a bump on her head, police said, and was taken to at 6:23 p.m.

The woman was the only one in the Lexus, however, three people were in the Infiniti, including the driver and one small child. Several emergency vehicles were on the scene, including an Evergreen Park Fire Department ambulance.
