Bum Check Lands Chicago Man in Trouble

Kejuan D. Allen, 19, is charged with felony forgery, Evergreen Park police said.

A 19-year-old Chicago man is accused of passing a bad check in Evergreen Park.

Kejuan D. Allen, 19, of the 500 block of West Division Street, was charged with felony forgery, police said.

Allen tried to pass along a false check on July 17 in the amount of $443.95 at PLS Check Cashers, 2507 W. 95th St., police said.

An employee examined the check and noticed it was a fraud. Allen was arrested by Evergreen Park police a short time later.
