Bags of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Found During Stops: Blotter

Retail Theft
Donald A. Thompson, 45, of the 8300 block of South Throop in Chicago, was charged with retail theft and resisting a police officer, according to a report. He is accused of taking food, cosmetics and other household items totaling $170.61 from Pete's Fresh Market, 3720 W 95th St. Police said he pushed away from officers and refused to release his hands and arms when he was being arrested.

Drug Paraphernalia Charge
Christus M. Chabarria, 30, of the 3100 block of 99th Street in Evergeen Park, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane use, driving without a tailight, driving without a seatbelt, driving without insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to a report. Police saw a car driven by Chabarria cross the road lines at about 10:16 p.m. near the intersection of 99th Street and Pulaski Avenue. During the stop, an officer saw a 4 Loko in the cup holder and syringes on the floorboard.
Marijuana Possession Charge
Raymond I. Warren, 26, of the 500 block of west 18th Street in Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to a report. Warren was stopped for improper lane use. An officer reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police found bags containing 13.6 grams of a substance that tested positive for marijuana.
