What Should Replace Plass Appliance?

Now that Plass Appliance and Furniture has moved from a storefront on 171st Street, we're left asking ourselves, "What should go here?" So take a moment to tell us what your hopes are for the vacant space.

An vacant storefront now sits where Plass Appliance and Furniture once was.

Near the busy intersection at La Grange Road and 171st Street and adjacent to successful business ventures—, a and a —the space could be considered prime commercial realty. But Plass in March at its  store at 9501 W. 171st St.

Now that they've officially cleared out, we're left asking ourselves, "What should go here?"

How high should aim? Tell us in the comments.

Joe, that is SUCH a good idea. The space is pretty expansive. Great suggestion.

I think Lou Malnatti's Pizza which has a carry-out store there should expand to a sit down restaurant like the one they have in downtown Naperville.

That is a very good idea but the Charley Horse is already there. Not a microbrewery but great food and drinks. A great place to hang out to watch a game or listen to their live entertainment on weekends. No.... I don't work at Charley Horse or own the place. I just like it! I heard a while back that a microbrewery was being considered for the old Bogarts in downtown Tinley but apparently that's not going to happen. No.... I don't work at Charley Horse or own the place. I just like it!
