Introducing the Evergreen Park Patch Cookbook

Our bloggers have shared their best recipes with us over last few the months. We've compiled them for you on our new Evergreen Park Patch Cookbook page.

Each day on Patch, we're able to see into the lives of our neighbors through our daily reporting, or our Evergreen Park Patch Pics and Clips section. But a few of our outstanding neighbors let us accompany them on their food excursions and come into their kitchens, sharing some of their most treasured, tasty recipes. So in honor of our foodies: Chef Kate Bradley and Colleen Sylvester, and Madeline McCalip, we'd like to formally introduce our Evergreen Park Patch Cookbook!

Meet the authors:

This former restaurant owner turned traveling chef blogs about healthy options to pastries and the treats that we love. Occasionally, she’ll share one of her favorite recipes with us, of course, with a healthy focus.

A foodie at heart, Colleen Sylvester was born in Evergreen Park and now lives in Dayton, OH blogging about unique food recipes. She has a knack for making delectable dishes with a mix-match blend of ingredients. Sylvester shows us how to put together recipes with an arbitrary combination of ingredients.

That's not all, there's more! How about another foodie perspective? One that examines local restaurants?

Great recipes are fun to master, but when you want to take a break from the kitchen, allow Madeline McCalip to tell you about "Local Foodie Treasures," in the neighborhood that are worth trying out. You won't find these dishes in the cookbook, but McCalip travels to restaurants throughout the Southland and tells us all about her 360 experience, including the customer service, cleanliness of the restaurant and the food itself.
