Recipe: Homemade Hot Chocolate
Throw out those packets of hot cocoa that you add water to. Here is the real way to make hot chocolate! And, so simple. Now go play in the snow.
There is nothing better than playing in the snow and coming in for hot chocolate and cookies. Do we ever grow up? This is a very quick and delicious way of making hot chocolate. We started with a hollow chocolate rabbit from LAST Easter and added a few milk chocolate Santas from Christmas. SO even if you don't have chocolate chips, you can make this! Feel free to mess with different kinds of chocolate,too. Happy playing in the snow!
4 cups milk

8 oz. chocolate chips
1 Tble sugar

In a large saucepan, heat the milk. You will see little bubbles around the edges. Melt the chocolate in the milk and stir in the sugar. Carefully fill mugs with the warm drink. Enjoy!
