It's Starts At Home: Parenting Class

Who is shaping what your children believe?

In these busy and hectic days, we take our kids to sports practice and games, music lesson, tutoring, and other activities that give our kids the best opportunities for success.  But what if we're missing the opportunity to teach them what matters most?

Our kids grow up smart, atheletic, polite, and popular but lack a vibrant relationship with Christ.  The few hours they spend in church can be helpful, but cannot nurture a faith in our kids that can withstand the trials that are on the horizen.  The church alone cannot teach them, we must start at home. But many parents feel ill equipped to develop the faith of their children.

In six lessons we'll explore biblical and tangible ways that parents, couples, single parents, blended families and grandparents can build a legacy of faith for their children.

Assisted by a video curriculum by Matt Chandler, Pastor Steve Worsham will guide us through the steps of starting at home.  Steve and his wife Valerie, have been married for 36 years, have four adult children and spent 28 years in youth ministry ministering to students and their families.
