Chicago Hot Glass Workshop Studio Trip

Ages 11 & up: Wear natural fiber clothing, close-toed shoes, and tie back long hair. Under the guidance of professional artists, learn how to blow hot glass and make a beautifully colored glass paperweight. The school bus will depart at 9:00 am and return approximately 2:30 pm. Bring a bag lunch or snack; water will be provided. $15/person at registration. Limit 36 

Note: All glass must be cooled slowly in a process called annealing, which can take up to 18 hours. Glass objects can be picked up from the library on Monday, July 28.
