St. Bernadette Parish to Bless Police Officers on September 29
All police officers are invited to attend St. Bernadette Parish on Sunday, September 29th for 10:30 a.m. Mass. September 29th is the feast day of St. Michael the Archangel, patron of police. During the Mass, there will be a special blessing for all police personnel. All police officers – as well as volunteers working under the supervision of the Police Department, such as crossing guards - are invited to attend Mass in uniform to receive this blessing. Founded in 1947, St. Bernadette is located at 9343 S. Francisco in Evergreen Park, IL.
