Video Slide Show: Take a 70-Second Tour of Marita Collins' Garden

Northwest Elementary School teacher Marita Collins and significant other Chris Rusin purchase trinkets and artifacts when they go on trips. Then, they use them to decorate their yard and as "pots" for plants.

Evergreen Park resident Marita Collins was more than happy to open her back gate and let the community stop in for visit during Sunday's Blossoms for Books Garden Walk.

She is a sixth-grade teacher at Northwest Elementary School and staunch supporter of the Evergreen Park Public Library. Her significant other, Chris Rusin, does much of the dirty work in the yard.
