Twinkle Witch, Boy 'n Girl Chuckie Hot This Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and you’re likely to see a little bit of everything popping up at your door or your gang’s party.

If you haven’t put your costume together yet—and we suspect a lot parties will be happening at homes and bars the weekend before Halloween—there is still time to throw something together.

Enter Patch's Halloween costume contest and you might walk away with a bundle of cash.

We stopped by Halloween World Costumes at 6310 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to find out what’s flying off the shelves in the Southland—

“Most of the guys are buying masks,” HWC Sales Associate Desiree Munoz said. “Michael Myer from ‘Halloween’ and monster masks, or they’re dressing to match their wives and girlfriends.”

Among the popular male and female costume combos this year are pirates and “boy-and-girl Chuckie” ensembles.

Munoz, a young twenty-something, said that most “older ladies” in their 30s and 40s want to try on the SWAT officer costume because it comes in plus-sizes.

Bat Man is big among men this year—the Christian Bale version, not Adam West from the 1960s “Batman” TV series.
