Electrician Apprenticeships

IBEW Local 134 and the National Electrical Contractors Association are accepting registrations for their 2014 electrical and communications apprenticeship programs. Applicants must be at least 17 at the time of registration. High school seniors are welcome to register, with acceptance into the apprenticeship contingent on graduation. Interested applicants may register every Wednesday between 9 and 11 a.m. starting Jan. 8, 2014, IBEW-NECA Institute, 6201 W. 115th St. in Alsip. Jewel-Osco has multiple part-time openings in area stores including Oak Lawn (Ridgeland, 103rd, Pulaski), Hickory Hills, Burbank, Alsip, Beverly (Chicago), Palos Heights, Palos Park, Orland Park, Oak Forest, Tinley Park, LaGrange Park and other locations on Chicago’s South Side. The store is looking for entry-level cashiers and stockers, as well as skilled hourly positions, including candidates with bakery, butcher, deli and decorating (floral) experience.
