Horse Thief Hollow Makes List of Chicago's Best New Bars

Find out where the area's busiest brewpub ranks.

The Beverly neighborhood embraced Horse Thief Hollow immediately, and now it looks like the rest of the city might finally be catching up. 

Chicago Magazine recently published their list of the best new bars in the city and our neighborhood brewpub made the list at number 17. The magazine describes the Hollow as "homey and refreshingly unpretentious." 

If you are new to Horse Thief Hollow, located at 10426 S. Western Ave., Chicago Magazine recommends the Kitchen Sink pale ale. Patch can never make a decision about what to order and therefore recommends the beer tasting flight.

In fairness this isn't a stellar accomplishment. With the way chicago has seemingly declared war on the bar business and being very chimsy with liquor licenses these days HTH didn't really have too much competition.
