Free Slurpees and Mini-Party Attire at 7-Eleven Today

For its Birthday, 7-Eleven stores across the country are giving away free Slurpees. Go grab yours from one of two locations in Evergreen Park.

As the largest store chain in the country celebrates its 85th Birthday today, it invites guests across the U.S. to the party.

If you need a cool treat, drop by either of Evergreen Park's two and grab a free 7.11-ounce slurpee drink from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. while supplies last. Party guests will also receive mini party apparel -- tiny bowties, tiny hair bows, tiny party hats all in honor of the big birthday celebration.

In town, there's a 7-Eleven at 99th Street and Kedzie Avenue, and at 3440 W. 95th St.

Since 2002, the company has given away millions of free Slurpee beverages on July 11th. Officials at 7-Eleven estimate this year to be the biggest birthday to date as they prepare to give away 7 million free Slurpee drinks.

Additionally, 7-Eleven’s Slurpee drink is celebrating 45 flavor-filled years today, "making the day a double brainfreezin’ good time."

Each store also invites customers to peel, play and win with Big Summer Sweeps’ game pieces found on specially marked products throughout the store--through the end of August. Customers may win big prizes like a PepsiMax VIP trip package to the football championship or a BMW Motorbike F800 GS.
