Eataly Chicago Opens to Massive Crowds

The 63,000-square-foot Italian food gourmet superstore opened on Monday with lines that stretched two blocks long.

Eataly Chicago, a superstore featuring 10,000-plus Italian foods, drinks and cooking essentials and 23 restaurants, opened to the public on Monday afternoon. The superstore is located at 43 E. Ohio and is owned by Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich.
