CrossFit Offers Free Sample Workouts at Saturday's Re-Grand Opening

CrossFit Beverly celebrates grand re-opening by offering free adult and child mini-crossfit workouts Saturday.

The Southwest Side’s premier fitness center -- CrossFit Beverly -- reopens at 2745 W. 111th St. this Saturday, April 12 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Coaches and staff will be on hand to answer questions about CrossFit, CrossFit Kids, and CrossFit methodologies, including scaling workouts for all athlete's abilities.

Staff will also be able to answer questions about Beverly Area Barbell Club, a United States Weightlifting sanctioned weightlifting club dedicated to training Olympic lifting.

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Patients recovering from heart attacks, housewives, skiers and mountain bike riders have also found their best fitness workout from the same regimen by applying principles of scalability and load.

CrossFit workouts will run every half hour throughout the day for those interested in sampling CrossFit. CrossFit Kids Coaches will be running a special JV (kids age 6-12) session at noon for parents who want to sample CrossFit for their kids.
