Legacy Mural Tradition Continues at EPCHS

Theme of legacy mural is careers after high school.

This summer Evergreen Park Community High School continued its tradition, which started three years ago, of having students from the current graduating class create a lasting memory on the walls of the high school.  This year the hallway leading to the Fine Arts, Business, and Technology areas was chosen.  The theme for the class of 2013 legacy wall was “careers after high school”, and it came with a twist.  Back in October, Marciann Kosnick, from the class of 1962, contacted the principal, Mr. Bill Sanderson, and expressed to him that she and her classmates wanted to donate some money that their class had collected.  Mr. Sanderson suggested they sponsor the painting of the legacy mural and the rest is painted in history.
