Village Enacts Snow Plan
The Village of Evergreen Park is asking residents to help by abiding by the snow parking plan and not blowing snow into the street.
the Village is asking for residents to assist in the snow removal process.
Per the village snow Plan:
- All vehicles should be parked on the even side of the street on even days and odd side on odd days.
- If you're unsure, use house numbers to determine even/odd side.
- Reminder: It’s unlawful to park in a snow route.
In addition, William Lorenz, head of the department is asking residents not to blow the snow out into the street after it is plowed, because it's a hazard "That'll be a big help," he said.
