Village Announces Return of Fall Tree Program

The 's certified Tree arborist Gavin Yeaman sent the following message to residents:

The Village of Evergreen Park is pleased to announce its bi-annual tree planting program for the fall 2011.  This program enables residents and business owners alike to choose from a great variety of trees at a reduced cost.  Trees can be purchased for parkways, private property or parks.  Planting will be done by a Village approved contractor according to our planting specifications.  Cost includes planting, mulch, fertilizer, and a one time, 100% free replacement guarantee.  Trees to be planted are locally grown and are from quality nursery stock. 

All orders including full payment must be made by Friday October 7, 2011. Existing trees will not be removed as part of this year's program.  Guidance for making a proper selection is available from our staff certified arborist.
