Photo Gallery: Annual Block Party Officially Kicks off Summer Season
Evergreen Park residents enjoyed a little fun in the sun at the 23rd annual Day in the Park event.
Hundreds of Evergreen Park residents converged on to enjoy the block party.
Kicking off at 8:30 a.m. the event featured a 5K run/walk and a kids fun run earlier Saturday morning.
As the weather began to heat up so did the fun, as children waited anxiously in line to enjoy the miniature pony rides and petting zoo, while the adults feasted on EP favorites and Sesame Inn.

For first time visitor Lisa Krull, the event offered a perfect mix of adult and kid-friendly entertainment.
