MARCH CRAFT MADNESS

PIONEER FESTIVAL AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Where/When: Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Dr. in Joliet, Saturday and Sunday, March 26-27 from 8 a.m. to noon

Why Go: Enjoy pancakes with pure maple syrup and sausage for breakfast and stay for a maple syrup making demonstration. Try your hand at pioneer chores including butter churning and ice cream making. Watch pioneer re-enactors show you how things used to be done around the home. Exhibits and breakfast go on rain, snow or shine.

Pricing: $9 for adults, $7 for children under 12

 

CHICAGO FIRE VS. SPORTING KANSAS CITY

Where/When: Toyota Park, 7000 S. Harlem Ave. in Bridgeview at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 26.
