Help the Village Find its Official Christmas Tree

Believe it or not the holidays are very quickly approaching, and the days are winding down 'til turkey and dressing, then shortly after, Christmas decorations and gifts.

To get ready for the holiday season, the is looking for an Evergreen Tree to serve as its official Christmas Tree for the   

Last year's 25-footer was donated by an Evergreen Park family that wanted to remain anonymous.

The village asks that if you have an Evergreen tree on your property that you have been considering having removed and would like to donate, the village will take it down.

Officials are looking for a healthy tree that is at least 20 feet in height. 

Anyone looking to donate may call village clerk Cathy Aparo at 708-229-8222 with your information1 and an official will take a look at it.
