Gone Fishin' with the Annual Fish, Sports Show: Viewfinder
Last Friday, Evergreen Park Police Lodge No. 27 held its annual Fish and Sports Show, which drew folks from across the nation.
If you missed the local police lodge's annual Fish and Sports Show last Friday, then allow us to catch you up in this week's Viewfinder. More than 10 vendors came from across the country, one from Canada, to show off their trinkets, with all the bells and whistles included.
Headed by Evergreen Park Police Department Detective Phillip Rizzo, Evergreen Park Lodge No. 27’s annual Fish and Sports Show was held at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St., in Merrionette Park from Friday.
“This enables us to sponsor Evergreen Park Athletic Association, baseball teams, scholarship funds for the high school, boys club, girl's softball team,” Rizzo said, “all types of kid-related and community-related events."
