Meet State Sen. Bill Cunningham in Person

Introducing 'Today in Evergreen Park,' a daily digest of useful information to help you get through your day.

Illinois State Senator Bill Cunningham (18th) and Rep. Fran Hurley (35th) will both be at Worth Village Hall Tuesday night to meet people in their districts and hear concerns.

Bring your thoughts on pensions, cuts to state services, continued Springfield gridlock and other tomfoolery happening in our state capitol.

Cunningham and Hurley will be available 6 p.m. Tuesday at Worth Village Hall, 7112 W. 111th St., Worth.

  • Thought for the Day -- Plant A Tree

The Village of Evergreen Park’s bi-annual tree program is underway. There are many varieties of trees to choose from at a reduced cost. Residents and businesses can choose trees for parkways or private property. Trees will be planted by a village-approved contractor. Sign up for a tree by Oct. 4.
