End-of-Summer Reading Activities at EP Public Library

Time to celebrate the end of summer —and the end of the work week.

Kids and teens, it's time to celebrate all the time you've spent cracking open those books this summer with Evergreen Park Public Library's end of summer reading activities.

Kids in 5th grade and younger: Have you read at least two hours this summer? If so, it's time for the End-of-Summer Reading Carnival. Come to the library from 3 to 4 p.m. to play carnival-style games outside.

If you're in grade 6 to 12 and you've turned in your permission slip, it's time for the End-of-Summer Lock-in. Teens that have read at least five books this summer can come and play games at the library after hours, from 6 to 8 p.m.
