The Evergreen Park Village Pantry is using the halfway point to Christmas as an opportunity to stock their shelves for the coming months.
You can drop off donations at the Evergreen Bank Group, 3842 W. 95th Street, on Friday, July 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday, July 27 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Collection stations will be set up in the bank lobby and parking lot at 95th and Avers. If you want to give money directly to the pantry that would also be much appreciated. Checks should be made payable to the Village Pantry Coalition, 3450 W. 97th Street, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
The Village Pantry Coalition has been in operation since 1982 and assists Evergreen Park residents requiring temporary food assistance.
